Hiro Lesmanaさんがデザインした、インドネシア製のドリッパーです。製造は同じくインドネシアのSUJI Premium Handcraftedです。このドリッパーの写真をよく見てなかったので、横向きに入ってる溝がリブではないこと(外側だけに入ってるパターン)に買ってから気がつきました。内側のリブは縦に3本入ってます。
抽出は遅いです。序盤・中盤は流れますが、終盤がっつり詰まって急ブレーキです。でもエグ味はほぼなくて、面白いんです。ハリオのMUGENドリッパーも同様の特徴を持ってますが、SD1の方が抜けが遅いです。微妙に違う。SD1の方が酸が丸くてバランスが良いな、と感じています。香りはMUGENの方が感じやすい。SD1は後半の詰まりを好意的に捉えられる数少ないドリッパーだと思います。落ち切る直前までのトータルで4分くらいなので、待ってる間に後片付けも進められるというのも良いですね。

This dripper was designed by Hiro Lesmana and made in Indonesia. It is manufactured by SUJI Premium Handcrafted, in Indonesia. I did not look at the picture of this dripper carefully, so I noticed after I bought it that the horizontal grooves are not ribs (those are only on the outside). The inside has 3 vertical ribs.
Extraction is slow. It flows in the beginning and middle, but it clogs up and brakes suddenly at the end. But there is almost no harsh taste, and it is very interesting. HARIO’s MUGEN dripper has the same characteristics, but the SD1 is slower to extract. It’s a subtle difference; I find the SD1 to be more rounded and balanced in its acidity. The aroma is more perceptible in MUGEN. SD1 is one of the few drippers that I can favorably perceive the clogging in the second half. The total time just before it drops off is about 4 minutes, so I like the fact that I can proceed with cleanup while I wait.
