メリタは陶器製だけでなく、アルミニウム製のドリッパー(メリタ的にはフィルターと呼ぶ)を作っていました。資料によれば1930年年代から1950年代前半に作られたモデルで、陶器製のこのモデルの素材違い版です。リブも陶器製と同じデザインです。ドリッパー部とホルダーは接着されていますが、モノによっては接着力が弱くなって外れる個体もあります(わたしのがそうでした)。持ち手は樹脂製で、経年で色が変化していて良い感じになってます。抽出は早そうですが、2つの穴からしか流れてこないことが多いので、あまり早くはないです。
アルミのメリタはオーラがあるよね、たたずまいが長老的な感じすらある。

Melitta made not only ceramic drippers, but also aluminum drippers (called filters in Melitta’s terms). According to data, this model was made from 1930s to the early 1950s, and is a different material version of this ceramic model. The ribs are the same design as the ceramic model. The dripper and holder are glued together, but depending on the model, the glue may become weak and come off (mine did). The handle is made of resin, and the color has changed over time, giving it a nice look. Extraction seems to be fast, but not too fast, as it often only flows through two holes.
The aluminum Melitta has an aura about it, it even looks elder-like in appearance.
