アメリカのコーヒー器具メーカーSaint Anthony Industriesのドリッパーです。このメーカーのドリッパーはユニークな製品が多く、「そうきたか！」と思わせてくれます。このC70はメーカーのページにも掲載がありますが、今回紹介するモデルは日本の波佐見焼で作られたもので、波佐見焼モデルはメーカーのページには掲載がありません、不思議。日本版がある、けっこう珍しいモデルだと思ってます。このドリッパーの特徴は、鋭角ぎみの70度であること。ここ数年で見かけるようになった鋭角ドリッパー（たらちね、DEEP27）とは角度は異なりますが、先駆けとも言えるモデルかもしれないですね。使い勝手に関しては、鋭角ドリッパーならではの「ペーパーが合わない」問題があります。専用のペーパーはあるにはありますが、わたしはウェーブフィルターを使うことが多いです。

This is a dripper from Saint Anthony Industries, an American coffee equipment manufacturer. This manufacturer’s drippers are unique, I think. This C70 is shown on the manufacturer’s page, but the model introduced here was made by Hasamiyaki in Japan, and the Hasamiyaki model is not shown on the their webpage. I think it is quite a rare model that has a Japanese version.
This C70 dripper is characterized by its sharp angle of 70 degrees. The angle is different from the sharp-angled drippers (Tarachine, DEEP27) that have been seen in the past few years, but it may be a pioneer model. As for usability, there is the problem of “paper incompatibility,” which is unique to sharp-edged drippers. There are special paper filters, but I tend to use a wave filter.
